Teaching plan: America 'an oppressive hellhole'

University outlines 're-education' for those who hold 'wrong' views

The University of Minnesota's motto is "Driven to Discover." With its latest teaching plan it should be revised to "Driven to Disguise." In what is without doubt a blow to academic freedom, a program is being introduced that effectively screens its teachers for political and ideological beliefs.

Bob Unruh of World Net Daily writes:

Among the issues discussed in the plans are requirements that teachers would instruct students on the "myth of meritocracy" in the United States, "the history of demands for assimilation to white, middle-class, Christian meanings and values," and the "history of white racism."

Perhaps the University of Minnesota should not accept any federal dollars from a government so inherently evil, although with the current administration the university will probably be awarded a federal grant for such a program.

For parents with high school seniors, deciding on a college can be a very difficult process.

Regrettably, the University of Minnesota has eliminated itself from all America-loving household's lists.
