The federal government says
Ohio must use $400 million in stimulus money for a new passenger train project, not on highways as suggested by Republican gubernatorial candidate John Kasich.Kasich, a critic of the train project, said this week the money ought to be used to repair roads and bridges.
Rob Kulat, a
spokesman for the Federal Rail Administration, said today that the money can't be reallocated.
